Ickles getting married!

Utah here we come! With Ickles getting married we made a family road trip. Instead of fussing over pictures I enjoyed the moment. So sadly no wedding pics..... But it sure was a beautiful wedding with beaming bride and groom. So excited for Sydney to join our family! We went through Arizona and stopped at Walnut National Monument, just outside Page Arizona. It was a little chilly so we got our jackets on and bundled up Miss Elise.

Indians had dwellings here in the cliffs. It was a lot of stairs and I was 5 weeks postpartum and didn't have the go ahead to exercise. And lets be real, I was still sore down yonder, ha! So no climbing down to the dwellings. We promised to go back and climb all those stairs and see the dwellings some day.

Here is Bronson refusing to get back into the car. After making him get into his car seat we drove through Page Arizona and then over the Dam at Lake Powell. We got there too late for a tour and I wanted to get to the Hotel. We pressed onto Bryce Canyon making it to the Hotel at 11:00 that night. The stupid deer made it almost impossible to drive that night, we were all very happy to sleep in the hotel. We kicked Elise out and into the bathroom, she is such a loud sleeper bless her heart. The next morning we woke up and fed our faces and then made our way to Bryce Canyon.

Ty was brilliant and suggested taking the bus to the different lookout points. Bronson was in hog heaven. Loved riding the buses. At the first stop a melt down happened because Bronson wanted to ride the bus more. He soon figured out that we would be getting on and off the bus multiple times. Bryce Canyon is STUNNING! So happy that we stopped.

Yes we are wearing our jackets and coats at the end of May, it was freezing!!!

Bronson eagerly waiting for the next bus to come.

Lucky for us he found himself a stick, all was well in the world.

Now the whole reason we did a big ole road trip instead of shooting straight to Utah County was to see Grandma Allen in Beaver. I love this picture. Grandma meeting Elise for the first time. Grateful this lovely lady is still with us.

That evening we finally made it to Ty's parents. Here we are meeting Jon's horses.

At the Kangaroo place in PG. Totally going there again.

These are the sweet blessing outfits my Aunt DeAnn made out of the extra material from my wedding dress. We blessed Elise at my parents ward with our families.

Bronson loves this book and frankly we love it too. Keeps him nice and busy and quiet while driving.

A mini stop in Price UT to feed Elise.
