Splash pad, Aquarium, and Cliffs

It was a long and fun trip but it is always so nice to come home.
Met up with some friends at a splash pad. In all honesty we will never go back there. Yes it was free, but right in the middle of the war zone and shared fences with the homeless. My BP was through the roof the whole time. On a good note, this amazingly HUGE bowl was pretty epic.

The otter exhibit is finally open at the aquarium!

If you are OCD you will notice something in this picture. I am twitching over here too.

Since we are at the aquarium and it takes my kids 5 minutes to run through, we naturally hop over to the botanical gardens

Black Widows are the worst! Thankfully this is the only one we found.

Supporting dad at his Sandia League basketball game.

Hitting up the safe splash pad before it closes.

A pretty good deal came in the mail for Cliffs amusement park, so we decided to capitalize on it. After about 2 rides Ty and I were trying to keep our cookies down and then opted out. The kids enjoyed the rides and had a blast.

Ty took one for the team and went with Elise on this ride. Hard pass.

Bronson was a big boy and did the rides by himself as mom and dad took some nice slow deep breathes and lots of swallowing.

Bronson wasn't allowed on the bigger bumper cars and we weren't allowed in the kiddie one. Poor kid couldn't figure it out. He stayed in this position for most of it.

Bronson loved the log lume. Ty told him to put his arms in the air when they went down the chute. Bronson did so and when Ty tried to put his arms up, Bronson quickly pulled them down and told Ty to hold onto him:)

Long Haul Trip of 2018 Part 4

Our last leg of our Journey, Utah County. Stopped in Rexburg ID for lunch at Pie Pizza Cafe and then let the kiddos run around. They loved this tree/bush thing. Great entertainment right here folks.

Drove through Logan UT to visit with Cody and Rachel's family. Naturally we stopped at Aggie Ice Cream for some much goodness.

We have missed this family sooooo much. Bronson and Elise loved playing with Miss Violet.

Waiting for Papa and Marner to come out of church.

Walking over to the pool to watch the girls swim

Andrew and Kensie showing us their ducks.

Also Andrew showing us his woodworking projects, AMAZING!

Splash pad in Orem, the best!

To cross off an item from my bucket list we hiked Mount Timpanogus. Evan Rude, Jenn, Addie, Mom, Ty, and me. The goal was the shed, but fear of heights got the better of me. Maybe I will have to hike it when its cloudy.

Made it to the meadow, BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING!

The infamous toilet. Evan tried to have me pretend to sit on it for a picture, NO WAY! Filled up to the rim with crap, toilet paper, and grodie feminine products.

Lots and lots of goats. One of the dumb animals followed me down the trail. I thought I was toast.

Made it to the saddle! BOOYA! After a couple minutes I was ready to get down, wayyyyy to steep for me.

Met up with Lynn and DeAnn and some of their kids for the American Fork Steel Days parade. Love me a good hometown parade and lots of candy.

The next morning we were off and heading home. Overall the Long Haul Trip of 2018 was a HUGE success! We loved spending time together as a family and also seeing our extended family.
