Long Haul Trip of 2018 Part 2

HELENA MT we made it! The Nelson clan was nice enough to let us visit and stay with them. Helena is BEAUTIFUL!
On the 4th of July they took us to an air show where kids 8?-17 get to ride an airplane for free. Bronson was in hog heaven looking at all the airplanes with Aunt Alisa and Alec.
But before we could look at the planes we stopped for some much needed doughnuts. DELISH!

Took us to a beautiful Church, sadly it wasn't open to go inside.

Alisa and Alec took Ty and I to the top of Mount Helena.

Oh and this is the sleeping giant in the mountains. His chest is about the middle of the photo and then going to the right it dips down into his chin and then a prominent nose.

Some random decorated tree for the 4th of July

BBQ burgers and dogs for the 4th dinner

Took the Helena tour bus/train through the city. Lots of interesting facts and beautiful homes.

Buddy totally out. Alisa is one strong lady, had a firm grip even with all his twitching.

Went inside the State Capital building

Keeping this picture for posterity.

Went with the Nelson Clan to see where Brian worked, then walked to the Windbag Saloon for some Oh so delicious mac and cheese.

The kiddies had a blast at their children museum.

Bronson felt that the sheep and goat needed to be in the boat.

Got to ride the carousal

Rode this tour boat through the Gates of the Mountains. Once again BEAUTIFUL!

And we can't leave out the infamous front porch. Such a nice place to sit and visit and watch people.

Then as we are all trying to pack and get ready for the Smith Trip to Yellowstone, Bronson decided it was a good idea to plug in their treadmill and turn it on full blast. He was thrown into the wall and only walked away with a scrape on his chin. Hopefully he learned to never do that again. Hahahaha!
