Here we go!

Well folks, the end is here.....YES! I think we are as ready as we will ever be. So strange to think that our wee one's D-Day is tomorrow. 3/23/15 has a nice ring to it right? We are excited, then nervous, then happy, then I am crying. . . normal I hope. Here is to the new adventure in our lives. Our family of 2 is growing into 3. Bring it on:)

Found this idea on pinterest. Take the cards from wedding showers or baby showers, graduations, etc. Then cut 'em up and make a collage. I will probably spray paint the frame. I do like how it turned out. It's fun to remember who gave the card and the messages they left.

Some pics of the babe's room.

Bought the beautiful shelves from Home Depot and love them. We previously bought some for storage and figured they would work for the babe too.  The crib will arrive when my folks do and then the room will be complete.

Here we are at 39 weeks and 2 days.

Sweet cheeks of course wearing his stud muffin shirt. We have been diggin' this March Madness! Love him:)

Spring is in the air!

Spring is here and we are loving it! Took a walk on Sunday and snapped some random pics.

Here is one of the many trail heads up to the foothills. You can't really tell but it is pretty packed with cars. There was a guy unloading his little kids and I didn't want him to think I was being a creeper, so I walked further away before snapping the picture.

At our house we have spring popping up everywhere. Here is a friendly creature of some sort digging at the side of our house. No idea what it is..... slightly creepy.

The pear tree getting its blossoms

Our lovery raspberry plants have some beautiful leaves. Logan and Jenn were nice enough to share with us. Ty and I are real excited about these beauties.

The apricot tree's blossoms. The poor thing about 2-3 weeks ago had lots more with the warm weather and then it plunged into the 30's again. I don't think we are getting as many apricots as we did last year:(

With spring comes babies right? Well this Goob has had us on the edge now for 3 weeks. . . the turkey. Anywho, went to a checkpoint and they showed me how to put in the car seat. Now I am educated and the seat is ready to go.

Car seat is even out in the garage for an easy grab.

Lastly, here I am at 38weeks. Come on out baby!!!!

Winter Wonderland

Crazy, I know,  but we did get a HUGE snowstorm here in the 505. It started Friday morning and that was a total mess. I had to drive to work at 6:00 am and the roads were not cleared and the interstates were even worse! Pure ice and you couldn't see the lines. So very scary to feel the car slide and hoping others were being careful not to hit ya. That night the storm really hit and the next morning was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We received 8 inches, 8 inches!! ABQ was shutdown, literally. Most of the snow melted by that evening and then Sunday it was 64 degrees and of course all the snow was gone.

Ty out shoveling our driveway Friday night. He wanted to make sure we could get out in case Goober wanted to debut that night.

His crazy hair after shoveling. He definitely needs a haircut:)

Saturday morning after the storm passed. This is our picnic table.

The dogless dog house and the fence.

Looking out our front window

8 inches total

Our friends were kind enough to let us put some baby items on their baby registry through amazon and we got 15% off. BOOYA! So Saturday was spent inside putting our last items together for the Goob.

Ty hard at work with one of the strollers.

Our 2 strollers, car seat, 2 bases, and the high chair not shown. All of them were pretty darn easy to put together except for the blasted high chair, but we survived.

Getting ready to head out to church, 36 weeks 2 days.
