Our drive to The Grand canyon
Passed by this beauty.....memories of Mount Rushmore. This was just minutes from the Grand Canyon
Pictures just don't do it justice....it made us both stop and took our breaths away. Along with the beauty there was great anxiety. Notice in the picture below. On the edge you can see some people trying to get as close as they can for picture. Even kids were running around close to the edge......didn't like that part too much
One of the hikes. LOVED IT! If we ever go again we want to finish this one. Takes you from the rim all the way down to the river.

The waiting game for Andrew to show up. Here they are unloading their gear. We stood around for about 2 hours then went back to my parents car and took a nap. They finally showed up around 3 in the morning.

On our way back to NM we took a little detour through here. Nice little stop to break up the drive.
