Las Cruces trip

With my work being done and now having a 3 day weekend AND before wee one comes.... we decided a trip was in order. We have never been to Las Cruces and decided to conquer it. Our Friends the Coakleys joined us. It was a FABULOUS trip! The boys had a ball and it was fun to hang out with Henry and Jana.

Passing the exit for Deming, took a picture for Jordan. He truly appreciated it:)

The IPad was a saver on the 3+ hour drive.

The boys meeting up while the women folk ran for the bathrooms

After lunch, the men went to drop off the rental car Henry used to meet up with us from his work trip. While they did the drop off they picked up gelato from the university. Jana and I took the kiddos to The Kids Cafe (aka the indoor playground). The kids loved it and threw fits when we left 2 HOURS later.

After the Kids Cafe we went to a local park. Reminded me of the Discovery Park in PG.

The next morning we went to the Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum. Turned out that day was Cowboy weekend. Lots of vendors and extra stuff there. The boys had fun.

These 'old' farming tools I loved. They reminded me of both my grandparents farms.

These tricycles.... fully awesome.

 Sheep shearing show anyone?

The boys OVERJOYED to ride the choo choo.

Playing in the dirt waiting for their pony rides. Sadly Tim Bob lost it and would not get on the pony. Bronson enjoyed his pony ride.

After playing in the dirt they made their way into a barn and danced to some music

After Bronson woke up from his nap we took off for White Sands National Monument. The Coakleys were still sleeping, so we went solo. Bronson wasn't sure at first and when we made him take off his shoes and socks he almost lost it. After a couple seconds he was rolling around in the sand like a dog. Win!

Ty showing Bronson to run down the little hill. He really liked that.

Yep I look like I am taking a pooh. Awesome.

Mr. Bear needed a shoulder ride before heading out to church the next day.

40 Miles from the boarder was a Border Control Stop. They asked if we were US citizens and then let us go on. Really strange. When we first came into Las Cruces and we passed it, I got worried because we didn't have our passports. No problem for us. Their was a taxi in front of us in which a lady got out and went inside the building while the taxi flipped a U and went back down south.

Stopped in Hatch for lunch at Sparky's. The famous green chili burgers were really really good. Not too much green chili and it wasn't burning off your mouth. Just the right amount of heat and awesome flavor.

Yep I am that kind of mom:)

Love the sandune shodows. They looked cool. Also the old Milker is just like the ones my Dad had. Yes that does make me old😞
