San Diego

My family LOVES San Diego and the beach. We stay at the same place, right on the beach. So much fun!
Our first stop was to the USS Midway.

Game faces on for our head set tour

 Ty checking out an engine:)

Check this out. This is only 1/4 of the knobs. So this knoby things are the way they sent messages over the radio. One knob just right and the message wouldn't be sent. Crazy uh?

 Looking outside from our place

Getting ready for our deep sea fishing trip. This group had just gotten back from a 7 day excursion. They brought out a lot more fish before we left the dock.

A seal hanging out at the dock

The men have the shifty eyes, funny!

picking up our bait for the trip.

Sadly to say that after dad and Ty caught their fish, dad and I didn't feel so hot. Dad found the garbage can and I sat down to supervise everyone else:)

The place where we stay. Love Capri by the Sea

 The sunsets were always beautiful

 Chilling after a long day.

 Seal beach

Have I ever mentioned that I love signs:)

Sea World. Hot, sunburns, and sweaty:)

Addie riding her very first big kid ride. Evan Rude was also very excited.

My bun after the ride. It was one of those blast off rides:)

 Ty really loves fish:)

Watching piranha eat a fish. Totally cool and scary at the same time. No going overboard in Brazil....

Eating at Joe's Crab Shack. Our first time eating crab legs. Soooooo good!!!!

Our last day on the beach:) Thanks mom and dad for a great time, love you guys!!!

Train ride and Baseball game

With our friends JB and Veronica we took the Rail Runner from ABQ up to Santa Fe. The ride scenery was beautiful. Couldn't take any pictures though because we were on Indian Reservations.
So on our way to the train station monsoon hit hard! On the freeway we were driving about 30mph and then with the running water on the road traffic was HORRIBLE. After parking the car Ty and I were walking/running to get to the train before it left. Here is Ty calling JB to see if they were going to make it. After no answer we saw them running to the train. Veronica told us how they had to hop a fence in her dress. JB, her hubby, was so proud:)

Found this beauty in Santa Fe. Purple hair and pink everything else. She looked like she was in her late 50's.

The rain hitting Santa Fe just as we were walking off the train.

After eating piggely at dinner we made our way to Flying Star for dessert.

My work gives out tickets to the Isotope Baseball games, so awesome. We went with our friends the Lings. I am mad that I didn't get a picture of all of us. We did dinner at Costco for their hotdogs, figured the dogs at the stadium would be a wee bit too high for us.

Our awesome seats. Honestly I was getting sick because my eyes kept focusing on the net. . . like those pop out books.

 Loved this sign.

Utah Trip

In June we made our way up to Utah to visit with family. We stayed with Ty's parents and had a blast! One of the very many highlights were the Ande's mints and peanut butter cookies that greeted us in our bedroom, Thanks Sue!

We hit up the PG rodeo with the Smith clan and loved it! So much fun:)

The kids lining up for the Cash Cow. This event is HILARIOUS! Some poor cows have cash stuck to them and these kiddos chase them around to grab the moola:)

Sneaking out before the rush of the crowd. In case you can't tell we are pointing out the cows.

The boys who snuck out to catch the Basketball Final game.

My brother Kaden received his endowments while we were in town. My last time to see Ickles this trip before he left for his mission to Fiji. Love the kid! Got to hang out with my family and loved it!

Eating with the fam at Kneaders

On Saturday Sue with some of Ty's nieces and I met up with my family for the Strawberry Day's parade. Here is my attempt to hold both twins without them crying.

 The clan

Brynlee loved the floats and pointing them out

For Ty who couldn't make it. He loved Smokey the Bear

Yummy yummy place. If you ever see this golden nugget at any event try it out!

Addie and Brynlee taking pics of me

Sue and I ventured around to the Home Show. Okay these homes are A-MAZING!!! Here are some of the many pics I took. Thanks Sue!

A half court in the house. . . IN THE HOUSE! Seriously:)

This is hilarious. So on our way to Deer Creek for some fishin' and Sue brought the newspaper. She takes out the newspaper from the plastic and before reading it, she tries to see how many times she can pop the plastic. Hilarious:)

Thanks Sue and Skipper we had a lot of fun! It's always fun to see you guys:)
