Aztec NM and Durango CO

Wanted/Needed a getaway. Timmy joined us while his mom worked on getting a baby out. Knew the boys would love to ride a real train, so Durango it was!
And off we go!

69,999 miles on Bingo.....

70,000 miles, woot!

We are still happy.

Arriving at the Aztec ruins

Inside a replica of their ceremonial building. We pushed a red button and the audio turned on with Chanting and drums beating. Bronson "Scury mom, scury" and he booked it out. HA!

They had a nice grassy picnic area at the Visitor Center.

Everyone sacked out after the ruins and slept until we arrived to Durango.

A rad park we stopped to play at in Durango to get some much needed energy out.

The boys were thrilled to see a train at the park.

After dinner at a local Pizza joint we went to the mall. Mind you it was Friday evening so we thought it was going to be packed. NOT AT ALL! Eerily empty empty empty. We maybe saw 20 other people there. I asked one of the workers if this was normal, and sadly it was.

That night Marner and Papa Day arrived after the kiddies were all asleep. Bronson was very excited to see them the next morning. We stayed in a hotel a-joining rooms, amazing! Ate breakfast and off we went to the train station. The boys were so excited UNTIL the train whistled, hahahaha!

Stopped for lunch. Cold and windy!

The taffy was frozen and hard to chew, thank you mom for your facial expression, and your welcome for posting this:)

FINALLY Timmy fell asleep:)

Boys enthralled with Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Found out that Timmy's Mom was having contractions, Yipee! Next morning Timmy became a big brother to Stephen Robert, YAY!!!

It was so nice to visit with my parents and so hopeful with the kiddies. We loved spending time with them! The next day was a long drive home with Timmy getting car sick. He stayed the night with us until his Granparents got into town. Bronson was in a phase of waking up at 5:00. Poor Timmy was exhausted the next morning and fell asleep on the stairs with a half eaten banana. Sorry Tim.

It was a great trip and I would totally recommend it to anyone!
