Family visits and Work trip getaway!

So very excited that Evan Rude and his family came to visit us. The first day we went to Bandalier National Monument. Had a great time there.

I stayed down with the younger kiddos while Evan Rude and Jenn took up Addie and Brynlee to a special ceremonial spot. Lots and lots of ladders to climb.

Brynlee and Bronson walking hand in hand back to the vehicles

Other fun things we did was fishing, baking lots of cakes and feeding our faces, games, and then a double date-a-Roo. Thanks mom! Best game of my life to date, BOOYA!

My mom flew in to watch the kiddos while Sweet Cheeks and I went on a hot and steamy getaway. Love ya mom!

Ty's work trip was in Fort Lauderdale. This is a look outside our hotel room. Not too shabby.

Dinner and watching the boats come and go.

Sunset and walking the beach.

While Ty was in his classes I sat poolside and read a book. Pretty awesome I tell ya.

Took a tour on the Jungle Queen to see all the gigantic homes on the water channels.

Arrived to their private Island for all you can eat ribs, chicken, and shrimp BBQ style. Afterwards a show. Sweet cheeks was a good sport when chosen to go up stage and hula with. Bless his heart.

Next morning I went on a run to the beach, very pretty and oober hot.

Boarded our cruise ship and said goodbye to Miami, Bahamas here we come!

Our first stop was to Carnivals private island CooCoo Cay. Windy, rainy, and cold! The weather cleared for us to be able to go snorkeling.

Next day was the Bahamas. We did the Pearl Island get away. Teeny tiny island with snorkeling, lunch, and a cruise filled German senior citizen stop. Bikinis and speedos everywhere, disgusting.

Got back to Miami the next day and since our flight wasn't till later in the day, we went to the Evergreen Glades.

If you look closely you can see an alligator at the grass and water line.

This girl was 5ft nothing and showing us how she handles alligators. Had a hard time watching.

Great trip and great times!
