Zion's National Park

Instead of just bee lining it straight to our parents place, we've decided to make a mini trip out of it. Hence the Page AZ stop with Antelope Canyon and Glenn Dam. Our next stop is Zion's with Grandma Sue and the Skipper. After our Glenn tour dam we hit the road again and drove straight to Zion's to meet up with Ty's parents. Ty hasn't been to Zion's in decades and I was last there back in 2009 in the winter and everything was covered in snow. Anywho we were excited to see it again because we didn't really remember anything from before. BEAUTIFUL! The weather was perfect, There were no crowds, and the fall colors were stunning!

Met up with Ty's folks before heading through the big tunnel. They were kind to watch the kiddos while Ty and I went to an overlook hike.

Our end view.

If you look at the wall face you can see a tiny opening for the tunnel that cars drive through.

Took a picture of the kiddos and grandparents hanging out at the outhouse. Look real hard, they are there.

Our turn through the tunnel. I was surprised at how long it was.

Stopping in at the visitors center

By this point it was late afternoon and the kiddos were done with the car. Found this beauty of a park not to far from our hotel. Beautiful green grass and fall colors.

It was a good night and we are ready to get going.

The shuttle system there is AMAZING! We left our cars at the hotel and they bused us right into the park and then we hopped onto the shuttles. The kids loved not being in their car seats and no stress about parking.

We rode the shuttle all the way up North to the end of the park. This area is for the Subway. Nice hike and paved.

The beginning of the Subway. These crazy people were getting in the water with only sock shoes on and shorts. IT WAS COLD!

After that we hopped back on and did weeping rock.

And here it is. Crazy how much water is dripping out of this rock!

The view from weeping rock

Again another view

And lastly we did the 3 monarchs.

So glad we did a mini trip at Zion's! Now onto Utah County
